TeameLease has compiled a report on some of the trends in job market

Education matters :

Temp jobs on the rise
Number of temporary (temp) jobs offered in verticals like BFSI, manufacturing and consumer durables increased by more than 20% in 2005 over 2004.

Geography
Delhi is the emerging location for jobs in sales, Mumbai has more jobs to offer in the accounting field and Bangalore in HR and administration.

Ashok Reddy, managing director, TeamLease Services says
Increasingly there is a need to shift focus from job preservation to job creation. Temporary jobs could be one such solution, reforms to the contract Labor Act could create 12 million jobs in the next five years.
